Faithfulness is a holistic issue that is based on our obedience to God in every area of our lives, including how we handle work. A faithful Christian perspective on work involves considering all aspects of the vocation to which we have been called.

Our primary call is one that requires us to respond in faith to Jesus Christ; however, this assignment focuses more on a secondary call, which is a call to action. God calls us to specific actions that reflect who he has uniquely created us to be. Because God has called us to invest our lives into a vocation that reflects our personality, passions, and giftedness, we must stop seeing work solely as a means of making money, gaining power, or building a resume, but as an expression of how we have been made in the image of God.
