2. Kathleen Folbigg Kathleen Folbigg was accused of smothering her 4 children to death and received a 40 year sentence. Scientific evidence presented recently suggested a genetic reason for the children’s deaths. Mental health experts found no personality disorder, no psychosis and no Munchhausen’s Syndrome, though they did diagnose PTSD.
